App Installation - Configure Blocks

Torosachi Subscription App Embed

The app embed must be enabled for the Torosachi Subscription app to function. Without enabling it, customers will not be able to use the Subscribe & Save feature. This means they won’t have the option to subscribe to products or manage their subscriptions.

To enable:

1. Click the Configure button inside the app dashboard Torosachi Subscription App Embed section.

2. You’ll be redirected to the Theme App Customization screen.
3. In the left sidebar under App embeds, locate the Torosachi Subscription app embed option.

4. Switch on the Torosachi Subscription toggle to enable the app embed.
5. Click Save to apply the changes.

Torosachi Subscription Widget Block

The widget block is required to display the subscription options on your product pages. If the block is not active, the Subscribe & Save options will not appear to customers.

To enable:

1. Click the Configure button inside the app dashboard Torosachi Subscribe & Save widget block section.

2. You’ll be redirected to the Theme Customization screen. Navigate to a Product Page template (select “Default product” from the top dropdown).

3. In the left sidebar under the Product information section, click the Add section button.

4. A modal will open with two tabs: Sections and Apps. Click on the Apps tab.

5. Find and select Torosachi Subscription Widget from the list of available app blocks.

6. Once selected, the widget block will be added to your product page. You can drag and drop it to position it anywhere you prefer based on your layout requirements.

7. Click Save to apply the changes.

After successfully saving the widget, the Subscribe & Save feature will be displayed on your product detail page, allowing customers to choose subscription options for that particular product:

Important

Both the App Embed and the Torosachi Subscription widget must be enabled for the subscription experience to work properly.

Thank You Page Block - Subscription Management

The Thank You page block allows customers to manage their subscriptions directly from the order confirmation page. This provides a convenient way for customers who have purchased subscription products to view and manage their subscriptions immediately after completing their order.

To enable:

1. Go to your Shopify admin and navigate to Online Store > Themes.

2. Click Customize on your active theme to open the Theme Customization screen.

3. From the top dropdown menu, select Thank you page template.

4. A modal will open with two tabs: Sections and Apps. Click on the Apps tab.

5. Find and select Thank you page block from the list of available app blocks.

6. Once the block is added, it will appear in your Thank you page layout. You can reposition it by dragging and dropping to your preferred location.

7. Click Save to apply the changes.

After saving, customers who purchase subscription products will see a subscription management section on their order confirmation page:

This block displays a “Manage your subscription” button that allows customers to:

• View their subscription details
• Access their customer account to manage subscriptions
• Make changes to their subscription preferences

Note

This block will only be visible to customers who have purchased products with subscription options. Orders without subscriptions will not display this section.
